Automation

Save work as tasks, schedule it, drive the application from scripts, and connect AI agents and the AI Helper.

Everything you do in Oxys DB Studio is a command with an id. The same commands are behind the menus, the saved tasks, the command line and the local MCP server, so anything you set up by hand can be repeated without you.

Safety first

Automation never removes a confirmation. Destructive work (drop, clear, overwrite, delete, sync) asks before it runs, whether you start it from a menu, a task, the command line or a script. A scheduled task that replaces, removes or drops data asks once, when you schedule it, and again only if a later change makes it destroy more. AI agents and the AI Helper only get read-only tools.

To run tasks on a shared server rather than on your own computer, see the remote task runner in Team.
