Licence

Oxys DB Studio is available under the MIT licence or the Apache License 2.0, at your option.

Oxys DB Studio (the desktop application, oxysdb-cli, oxysdb-server, oxysdb-runner and the libraries in the repository) is licensed under either of:

  • the Apache License, Version 2.0 (LICENSE-APACHE at the root of the repository, text), or
  • the MIT licence (LICENSE-MIT at the root of the repository, text),

at your option. This is the usual dual licence of the Rust ecosystem.

Unless you explicitly state otherwise, any contribution you intentionally submit for inclusion in the project, as defined in the Apache-2.0 licence, is dual-licensed as above, without any additional terms or conditions.

Third-party components

Release packages include third-party software, each under its own licence: Rust libraries, the bundled mongosh and the fonts. Only permissive licences are accepted; the build checks every dependency on every change and refuses anything else. The packages carry the licence texts, and the application shows them in Help.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. See the licence texts for the exact terms. Always keep backups of your data.

This website

The website’s own text, design and images are available under the same licences. The fonts are under the SIL Open Font License or a compatible licence: see the attributions.
